About the campsite

KronoCamping is located by the beautiful shores of Lake Vänern. Here you will find everything you could possibly wish for at a campsite, something our five stars will attest to.

The campsite enjoys a unique location by the shores of Lake Vänern, where you can relax in the sun, go swimming or walk in to the beautiful town centre of Lidköping. Every Saturday and Wednesday there is a popular market in town, as well as great shops and supermarkets.

Restaurant Sjökanten, offering both delicious food for all tastes as well as entertainment, is located in the heart of the campsite and enjoys beautiful lake views. See the tab Entertainment. Other facilities available at the campsite are Sauna and Whirlpool with recliners (can be booked together or separately), Adventure golf and Pentathlon. Temperate pools located in connection to the campsite are open in June, July and August. Our guests swim for free by collecting tickets at our reception.

Among all the sights we would like to recommend Läckö Castle and Spiken fishing hamlet, the hills of Kinnekulle, Rörstrand with factory outlet. Lake Vänern Museum as well as Husvagns-Svenssons accessories market (caravan accessories).

We have in-house TV as well as satellite TV with 9 channels. Discounted weekly rates. We also offer free wireless Internet.

New check out times for weeks 28-31 for camping pitches. New time is 12 pm, same as for cottages.

The shop is located in connection with reception. Here, you can find most of what you need as far as provisions go. We also have a restaurant where you can enjoy our outdoor seating. In the same building is also a laundry room.
